Semiconductor Equipment Technician 1 (Wed-Sat, 10:00 pm-8:30 am)

About the role

We are looking for a Semiconductor Equipment Technician 1 (Wed-Sat, 10:00 pm-8:30 am) for our Amherst, NY facility. In this role you will be responsible for processing / coating ESCs for the Semiconductor market providing top quality product in a timely fashion which matches the customer’s specifications and needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the coating system, load, and unload the chamber with extreme care and attention to detail.
• Set up and monitor the Coating Machines.
• Pre-treat a variety of customer products using rigorous standardized methods to prepare products for coating.
• Make critical processing decisions, initiate the coating process, and be responsible for disassembling and reconfiguring the chamber for subsequent loads.
• Handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED.
• An associate degree (2-year) in a relevant field such as; Electrical / Electronics Technology, Mechanical Technology, Industrial or Manufacturing Technology (preferred).
• Equivalent hands-on experience in a manufacturing or technical trade environment may be considered in place of a 2-year degree.
• Experience in the Semiconductor industry is preferred.
• Manufacturing / production experience.
• Good work ethics.
• Team orientated.
• Computer skills, be able to utilize MS Office on the job.
• Required to lift 44 pounds with extreme care.
• Vacuum knowledge preferred but not required.
