Semiconductor Engineering Technician
About the role
Join us in using your engineering skills to help stop threat actors or solve cold cases. As a semiconductor engineering technician, you'll understand the building blocks of electronic systems, which is crucial for investigating modern technology. Your expertise will be used to develop novel capabilities for recovering data from damaged devices or investigating possible IC counterfeiting or tampering.
Responsibilities
- Develop and validate new test and evaluation procedures
- Conduct iterative testing on silicon wafers, chips, or packages
- Prepare samples through physical and chemical means
- Imaging with Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) or Focused Ion Beam (FIB)
- Technical documentation and lab note capture
- Pay strict attention to detail
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with semiconductor processes and CMOS design or Failure Analysis
- Experience working in an electronics lab
- Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Qualifications
- Experience with Fault Isolation
- Experience with embedded flash memory technology
Skills
- Strong understanding of semiconductor processes and CMOS design
- Expertise in failure analysis techniques
- Proficiency in SEM and FIB imaging
- Ability to document and analyze lab findings

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).
Schedule
Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
