Responsibilities
- Aid in the installation, manufacturing support, and regular preventative and/or corrective maintenance of semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
- Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and repairs to non-functioning equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software issues to resolve problems and make repairs during unscheduled downtime.
- Collaborate with internal SRI departments such as Purchasing, Shipping, Receiving, Model Shop, and Facilities to ensure timely acquisition of necessary equipment and services.
- Assist in identifying and implementing process and procedural improvements under the guidance of senior scientists and engineers.
- Develop a working knowledge of the machines used in semiconductor production through interaction with senior staff.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in field services or manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in electronic troubleshooting, electrical line voltage, mechanics, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Experience using basic hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, power drills, etc.
- Basic understanding of blueprints and schematics.
- US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status due to government contracts.
- High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant trade school or experience.
- Detail-oriented work ethic and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn new skills and be trained.
- Compliance with safety protocols and wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Benefits
The salary range for this position is:
- Level II: $26.49 - $35.10 per hour
- Level III: $30.71 - $40.69 per hour
