Semi Driver

About the role

Semi Driver for Sunstate Equipment Co., focusing on customer satisfaction through the loading, securing, delivering, and picking up various types of large construction equipment.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure equipment at customer sites
• Pick up and deliver equipment as needed
• Instruct customers on safe and proper use of all equipment
• Complete required paperwork
• Follow DOT/FMCSA/Sunstate regulations and protocols
• Communicate effectively and professionally with co-workers and customers
• Be familiar with the local area and its surroundings

Requirements

• Unrestricted Class A CDL with a Tanker Endorsement
• DOT Medical Card
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a semi, flatbed, or heavy haul position

Qualifications

• Experience with construction equipment is helpful but not required
• Ability to load and unload equipment
• Effective communication skills
• Familiarity with the local area

Pay

$32.60-$44.00 per hour, dependent on experience

Schedule

Typical schedule: Monday – Friday, 5AM - 3PM. Overtime based on business needs.
