About the role

Sunstate Equipment Co. is seeking immediate hires for various positions. Pay is dependent on experience, and benefits include free uniforms, work boots, prescription safety glasses, and a unique vacation/overtime averaging benefit.

Responsibilities

• Drive local jobs using a Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement and DOT Medical Card.
• Load, offload, and secure equipment with chains and binders.
• Provide customer instruction on the safe and proper operation of equipment.
• Complete paperwork and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain communication with co-workers and customers.
• Be bilingual in Spanish for additional benefits.
• Maintain safety standards and a safe driving record.
• Coachability and willingness to learn and adapt.
• Detail-oriented and provide superior customer service.

Requirements

• Unrestricted Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement and DOT Medical Card.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a semi, preferably as a wrecker or flatbed driver hauling heavy construction equipment.
• Physical agility to load, offload, and secure equipment.
• Customer-oriented and able to instruct customers on equipment operation.
• Team-player with effective communication skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish (a plus).
• Safety-oriented with a focus on maintaining safety standards and a safe driving record.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to meet Sunstate's standards.
• Detail-oriented and capable of providing excellent customer service.
