About the role

The Services WW Selling Partner Services (SPS) team owns critical services for our selling partners, including a trustworthy store for them to operate in, driving their business success, ensuring their satisfaction, and much more. This role is part of the Selling on Amazon business, which is one of the fastest-growing businesses at Amazon.com, empowering millions of entrepreneurs (selling partners) worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions that meet business requirements and customer needs
• Lead technical solutions from conception through deployment, including architecture decisions and implementation strategies
• Participate in full software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Technical Program Managers, and other engineering teams
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to improving team's technical practices
• Write high-quality, well-tested code following best practices and coding standards
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation
• Drive operational excellence through monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Demonstrated experience leveraging generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency and productivity, with the ability to craft effective prompts and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs in a professional setting
• Experience identifying opportunities to integrate AI solutions into products and services to drive business value

Skills

• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
