About the role
The Modular Selector is responsible for accurately selecting and packing products based on modular specifications and store-specific order sequences. This role supports the efficiency of product delivery and shelf stocking through precise product selection, ensuring quality, safety, and accuracy in all aspects of the work.
Responsibilities
- Follow all safety protocols while handling shipments and report hazards or incidents to management immediately.
- Select products in accordance with modular instructions and customer requirements using RF scanner systems to track product movement and maintain order accuracy.
- Select and pack products for online and customer orders (WCF Order Fulfillment).
- Report product shortages, damages, or mis-picks to supervisors or inventory control; assist with general inventory audits or counts as directed.
- Inspect goods for damages or discrepancies and report issues to the appropriate department; process returns for incorrect or unsatisfactory items.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in the receiving area.
- Maintain a clean and organized assigned work area at all times during your scheduled shift.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a receiving or warehouse environment preferred.
- Familiarity with RF scanners and picking systems is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following established safety protocols.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Willing to submit to a criminal background check.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Working Conditions & Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving equipment and is routinely exposed to hot and cold temperatures in the Distribution Center.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, hear, reach with hands and arms, and use hands to handle or feel.
- Occasionally required to climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and bend.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs or team lift items greater than 50 lbs.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
