Seeking Military Veterans to Serve and Support our Hospice Veterans

About the role

To positively impact patients and their families, we provide exceptional home health, palliative, and hospice care. Our care teams serve as way finders and way makers by delivering individualized care plans and experiences, wherever needed.

Responsibilities

• Volunteer with Armed Forces (active or retired)
• Share a common language, culture, and code of honor with Veterans
• Listen, reminisce, and share experiences with Veterans and their families
• Develop trust and safety between Veterans and their families
• Bring healing and validation to Veterans and their families
• Offer companionship and care to Veterans and their families
• Support the We Honor Veterans program

Qualifications

• Active or retired member of the Armed Forces
• Willingness to volunteer and support Veterans and their families
• Ability to listen, reminisce, and share experiences
• Desire to bring healing and validation to Veterans and their families
