Job Summary

Preferred Care at Home of Greater Huntsville is hiring experienced male caregivers for PRN assignments in Madison, AL, Huntsville, AL, and surrounding areas. Interviews can be conducted remotely via Zoom.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care
• Provide mobility support and transfers using assistive devices like gait belts, walkers, wheelchairs, and Hoyer lifts
• Help prevent falls and promote general safety
• Reposition bed-bound clients to avoid discomfort
• Offer companionship, daily living assistance, and engage in activities
• Monitor clients for changes in mood or behavior and provide reminders for medication schedules

Requirements

• 2 years of caregiving experience or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Pass background screening
• High school diploma or GED
