Male Caregiver (On Call/PRN)

Responsibilities

• Provide light housekeeping
• Accompany client to appointments
• Assist with medications
• Prepare meals
• Purchase food
• Provide personal assistance with general living needs
• Personal services may include bathing, feeding, grooming, catheter/incontinence care, wound care, and re-positioning

Requirements

• 1 year minimum experience in Home Health Care
• High school diploma or GED
• Must be able to complete and pass a Criminal Background check
• Valid CPR/First Aid Certification
• Physical endurance to lift and assist the client in and out of bed or a wheelchair (up to 200 lbs)
• Ability to reach, bend, kneel and stand for (sometimes) a long period of time
• Experience working with clients who have a form of paralysis

Schedule

Weekends (Saturday and Sunday): 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
