Security Vehicle Patrol Officer - DoD Clearance Required

About the role

As a Security Vehicle Patrol Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location in San Diego, CA, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication in a mission-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site requirements and applicable procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and/or unusual conditions accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.

Pay

$25.59 per hour.

• Wednesday: 06:30 AM - 02:30 PM
• Thursday: 06:30 AM - 02:30 PM
• Friday: 06:30 AM - 02:30 PM
• Saturday: 06:30 AM - 02:30 PM
