Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Clearance Required

About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location in Aurora, CO, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor alarms and access points, and support badge control activities. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, business areas, parking locations, and perimeter boundaries to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Prepare accurate reports and promptly communicate unusual activity, incidents, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An active DoD Top Secret Clearance is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Alarm panel experience.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience.

Pay

$28.18 / hour

Schedule

• Position Type: Full Time
• Day/Time: Monday–Thursday, 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
