As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Clearance Required in Thousand Oaks, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to alarms, and support security-related operations. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site requirements
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required
• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only

Qualifications

• Alarm panel experience is preferred
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $26.52 / Hour. Position Type: Full Time. Schedule: Day Time, Monday through Friday, 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM.
