Security Officer Vehicle Patrol_Clearance Required

About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a government location in Thousand Oaks, CA, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, respond to alarms and security-related concerns, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to government location personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and visitor records.
• Communicate clearly with site personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns and operational needs.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
