Security - Vehicle Patrol
About the role
GardaWorld Security Services is now hiring a Tactical Security Officer for a full-time position in Portland, Oregon. The schedule is Sunday through Tuesday from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Wednesday from 12 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., totaling approximately 38.5 hours per week. The hourly wage is $22 per hour, with DailyPay available for GardaWorld employees.
Responsibilities
- Read the environment and anticipate risk
- Movement throughout the shift, patrolling retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.
- Spot suspicious activity and verify identities
- Control access to secure areas
- React quickly to threats or incidents
- Check alarm and camera functionality
- Document incidents and actions taken
- Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
- Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
- Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Pass an extensive screening process
- First aid certification (asset)
- Standing and walking for the entire shift
- Security, military, or law enforcement experience
- At least 21 years old
- Valid driver's license with a clean record
