Security Officer Vehicle Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading automotive location in Coppell, TX, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and customers. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first values with integrity and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and customers at an automotive business location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, vehicle lot concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of vehicle inventory areas, parking lots, service lanes, sales areas, buildings, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe incoming and outgoing vehicle, visitor, and vendor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Requirements

• Possess 1+ years of law enforcement experience, 2+ years of security-related supervisor/manager experience, or 3+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• CPR/First Aid certification (preferred).
• This is primarily a driving post; a valid driver’s license will be required.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$23.70 / hour

Schedule

• Part-time, flexible shifts available via Claim a Shift platform.
• Day shifts on Saturday and Sunday: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM.
