About the role
As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol in San Bernardino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Commercial Real Estate. This part-time role offers flexibility and opportunity through our Claim a Shift platform. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. This driving post includes operating a vehicle while communicating professionally with tenants, visitors, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property areas, including building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to deter unauthorized activity.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.
- Monitor access points and observe activities throughout the location, reporting suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
- Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$19.50 / Hour
Schedule
- Wednesday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
- Thursday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
- Sunday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
