Security Technician II/III

About the role

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Security Technician III in Atlanta, GA. The position is a contract to hire role.

Essential Duties and responsibilities

• Inspect installation sites and review work orders, building plans, and installation manuals to determine material requirements and ensure proper installation procedures are followed.
• Install, maintain, and repair security systems, alarm devices, and related equipment in accordance with electrical layouts and building plans.
• Mount and secure control panels, door and window contacts, sensors, and video cameras, and connect components by installing electrical and telephone wiring.
• Test and troubleshoot circuits and sensors according to wiring diagrams and system specifications.
• Verify proper operation of backup batteries, keypads, sirens, and all security features; diagnose and resolve malfunctions as needed.
• Stay up to date with new products, technologies, and industry developments.
• Order replacement parts as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and basic network issues for end users.
• Demonstrate understanding of IPv4 and the ability to assign IP addresses to computers.
• Complete projects safely, on time, and within budget.
• Maintain high standards of quality, professionalism, workmanship, and customer service.
• Submit all required documentation promptly.
• Comply with all company and project-specific safety requirements.
