Security Technician-EN

About the role

The Industrial Security Technician supports the Facility Security Officer/Security Manager and serves as a primary point of contact for visitors entering CAE USA Inc.’s Arlington, TX facility. This role involves enforcing visitor access policies, managing badges, and maintaining records.

Responsibilities

• Implement Visitor policies and monitor visitors in the Lobby
• Greet all visitors and ensure proper sign-in, maintain visitor’s register, and issue badges
• Process all incoming visits with proper personnel and activate temporary badges
• Coordinate visitor arrivals with responsible point of contact and answer desk phone professionally
• Prepare for and implement procedures for potentially serious circumstances
• Provide backup support for the Arlington security team
• Aid in supporting internal self-inspections and government security reviews
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must obtain and maintain a final DoD Secret clearance
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Professional oral/written communication skills, focusing on customer service
• Present a professional relationship with CAE USA Inc. customers both during visits and phone interactions
• Outgoing, friendly personality
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite of Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Ability to work well individually and in a team environment with minimal supervision
• Working knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM Rule), specifically those chapters related to security requirements
• Records management background
• Working knowledge of DISS, NBIS, eAPP and SWFT Security

Physical Demands

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This is not a remote position.
