Responsibilities
- Implement, badging, troubleshooting, and maintenance of access control systems
- Implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of security camera systems including IP cameras and VMS software
- Design and operation knowledge of commercial electrical systems
- Experience with Schlage and Assa Abloy door hardware and integrated locks
- Proficiency in all areas of IT including networking, Windows, and software integration
- Reviewing security/hardware design specifications and providing proper solutions for successful project execution
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Full range customer service skills
- Independent problem-solving and meeting deadlines
- Testing security/hardware systems and training clients on proper use
- Developing and writing internal and customer operation manuals
- Directly working with customers to establish needs and manage the project process
- Conducting customer site walkthroughs to estimate installations and service opportunities
- Collaborating with clients and staff throughout the design, development, and delivery process
- Providing technical responses to customer inquiries and presenting workable solutions
Qualifications
- 3-4 years of experience in commercial security/hardware
- References required
- Knowledge of security/hardware management systems
- Proven background in reviewing security/hardware design specifications and plans
- Driver’s license with no adverse driving history
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
