Security Systems Technician

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation of security and low voltage systems, including pulling wire and wiring up devices such as Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion Systems.
• Work with systems such as DoorKing access, Hikvision, Hanawa Cameras, Keyscan access.
• Perform basic wiring tasks, ensuring proper connections and compliance with safety standards.
• Carry and move equipment and tools required for installation.
• Prepare installation sites by setting up ladders, scaffolding, and other necessary equipment.
• Collaborate with senior technicians and other trades on-site to ensure smooth project execution.
• Complete all required paperwork related to the installation process, such as timesheets and job status reports.
• Participate in training sessions to improve skills and knowledge in security systems installation.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past three years.
• Able to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in various positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and working in confined spaces.
• Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, including climbing ladders and scaffolding, working at heights up to 60 feet, and navigating through ducts, crawl spaces, and ceilings.
• Able to carry and move heavy equipment and tools as needed.
