Security Systems Support Specialist

About the role

This position is responsible for providing technical support related to security systems that protect team members and company assets. The Security Systems Support Specialist ensures the efficient operation of safety technologies and contributes to the overall security infrastructure by troubleshooting technical issues and supporting system configurations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to internal and external users regarding security technology issues.
• Support key performance indicators related to safe and secure technology.
• Respond to calls and emails concerning CCTV, Access Control, and Alarm Monitoring.
• Troubleshoot problems via phone, email, or video communication, using remote tools or manual methods.
• Review help desk tickets to diagnose and resolve problems or assign them appropriately.
• Assist with configuring security systems for new installations.
• Document technical issues thoroughly in Jira.
• Utilize and update process standards and technical documentation.
• Evaluate situations to determine appropriate resolution or escalation.
• Escalate complex issues to relevant internal teams.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of experience in technical or physical security technology support.
• Intermediate knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DHCP, and related network services.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Effective communication skills for remote troubleshooting.
• A commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Pay

$20 to $23 hourly.
