Security Systems Coordinator (Part-Time)

About the role
Lake Highland’s Security department seeks a part-time Security Systems Coordinator to monitor campus security systems, support routine and urgent troubleshooting of security technology, process access control requests, and provide a visible, trusted presence across campus. This role helps maintain a safe, welcoming, and responsive environment for students, faculty, staff, families, and visitors. This is a part-time, non-benefited, 12-month, non-exempt position.
Responsibilities
- Monitor campus security systems
- Support routine and urgent troubleshooting of security technology
- Process access control requests
- Provide a visible, trusted presence across campus
Requirements
- Two years of experience in security, public safety, law enforcement, or the military
- Two years of technical experience in security systems required, with a preference for experience working with Verkada security technology
- BA in technology-related field or trade school certification preferred
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
Background checks, including fingerprinting and drug testing, will be performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
