Security Systems Admin I
Responsibilities
- Coordinates with management, clients, and site personnel to resolve issues, meet requirements, and ensure quality deliverables.
- Performs technical tasks including equipment installation, modification, troubleshooting, integrity testing, and customer support.
- Led teams in enforcing work standards, managing schedules, and overseeing quality assurance to client specifications.
- Conducts site surveys, analyzes as-built drawings, and evaluates facility configurations, infrastructure, and ESS/Access Control capacity for upgrades and expansion.
- Designs and integrates AMAG and other access control systems, including gates and remote site conversions.
- Executes testing, firmware/software updates, and controller programming for IT, communications, and security systems.
- Prepares survey and trip reports, ensures as-built drawings are updated, and maintains a clean, safe work environment, repairing any incidental damage.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A government contract requires that this position be restricted to U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents.
- You must provide documentation that you are a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident to qualify.
- The Security Systems Admin l will provide comprehensive support for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Electronic Security Systems (ESS).
- The technician will ensure that all security systems are functioning optimally, performing regular inspections, and addressing any issues that arise.
Qualifications
- AA/AS (or equivalent experience) and 3+ years of experience performing Access Control Security System work.
- AMAG Installer/Maintainer certification course.
Skills & Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft office suite.
- Responsible and independent work and leadership in remote locations with no supervision.

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Security Systems Admin I: $50K-$$55K Pay commensurate with experience.
