About the Role

Ensures the security and safety of guests, employees, cash, and physical assets of the Agua Caliente Casino.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent guest service.
• Monitors performance of subordinates, ensuring adherence to Casino policies and procedures.
• Prepares schedules for Security Officers and Security Surveillance Dispatch Officers.
• Assists in developing and implementing policies and procedures for the Security Department.
• Ensures the integrity of gambling, banking, count room, and cash handling procedures.
• Ensures the safety of guests and employees during Casino operations.
• Develops and maintains photo/card files on issues of importance.
• Maintains all required logs as directed by compact agreement.
• Maintains integrity of lost and found property.
• Fosters and maintains positive player/house relations.
• Maintains and controls access to restricted Casino areas.
• Ensures Security Surveillance video tapes are changed at designated times.
• Performs functions as needed as a Security Officer or Security Surveillance Dispatch Officer.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• 1 year of related experience in Security/Law enforcement and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Working Conditions

• Must be able to stand, move, and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1½ miles, climbing stairs, and sitting at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift.
• Must be able to work in a smoke-filled environment.
• Must be able to work in a “lighting subdued” environment for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
• Typically housed in an office environment with moderate noise levels, escalating in the casino environment.
• Must be able to grasp, bend, lift, and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis.
• Sufficient dexterity of hand to use office equipment, including computers, calculators, general office equipment, and multi-line telephones.
