Security Specialists- Industrial Security Program with Security Clearance

About the role

Security Specialists are needed to support the Industrial Security Program. They will provide security guidance and review DD-254s issued to contractors supporting the client.

Responsibilities

• Access CMS daily to review/approve/decline or request additional information associated with the Acquisition Planning Record.
• Aid in preparing and submitting DD Form 254s, and provide security guidance as required.
• Verify Cage Code, Facility Clearance, and safeguarding level within the Defense Security Service Industrial Security Facility Database for industry.
• Ensure compliance of security requirements within the Statement of Work, DD-254 and addendums through liaison with client and industry partners.
• Conduct security briefings and training, identifying required security information from the solicitation, Statement of Work, DD-254 and addendums.

Requirements

Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial security and contract management.
• Knowledge of DD-254 forms and their preparation.
• Ability to liaise effectively with clients and industry partners.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Understanding of defense contracting processes.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 annually.

Schedule

The schedule is flexible but requires regular attendance at the office in Reston, VA.
