Security Specialist (TS/SCI Clearance Required)

Synectic Solutions is seeking a passionate Security Specialist II to help ensure security and intelligence compliance with policies and regulations, drawing on leading personnel and cybersecurity thought leaders to enhance, accelerate, and assure the United States Navy's ability to counter existing and emerging security threats.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated experience in Physical Security (PHYSEC) and Information Security (INFOSEC) within the Department of Defense (DoD) or the Intelligence Community (IC), showcasing a strong understanding of safeguarding personnel, facilities, and sensitive information in a highly regulated environment.
• Proficiency in managing and implementing alarm and access control systems to prevent unauthorized access and respond effectively to potential security breaches.
• Experience overseeing and mentoring junior security personnel, providing guidance and support in their professional development, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere, and ensuring adherence to security protocols and procedures.

Requirements

• A minimum Top Secret w/ SCI security clearance or higher is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, business, or technical discipline.
• Four (4) years of experience in Physical Security (PHYSEC) and Information Security (INFOSEC) in the DoD or IC, including experience with alarm and access control systems.
• If a proposed individual does not meet both the desired education and experience qualifications, eight (8) years of professional technical activities related to security would be considered equivalent, with four (4) of those years demonstrating experience in PHYSEC and INFOSEC in the DoD or IC.

Pay

This position offers a salary in the range of $90K - $115K based on numerous factors, including degree and overall experience.
