Security Specialist (Secret Clearance Required)

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated experience in Physical Security (PHYSEC) and Information Security (INFOSEC) within the Department of Defense (DoD) or the Intelligence Community (IC), showcasing a strong understanding of safeguarding personnel, facilities, and sensitive information in a highly regulated environment.
• Proficiency in managing and implementing alarm and access control systems to prevent unauthorized access and respond effectively to potential security breaches.
• Experience in overseeing and mentoring junior security personnel, providing guidance and support in their professional development, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere, and ensuring adherence to security protocols and procedures.

Requirements

• A minimum Secret security clearance or higher, with the ability to obtain a Top Secret with SCI.
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, business, or technical discipline.
• Four (4) years of experience in Physical Security (PHYSEC) and Information Security (INFOSEC) in the DoD or IC, including experience with alarm and access control systems.
• If a candidate does not meet both the desired education and experience qualifications, eight (8) years of professional technical activities related to security may be considered equivalent, with four (4) of those years demonstrating experience in PHYSEC and INFOSEC in the DoD or IC.

Pay

This position offers a salary in the range of $90K - $115K based on factors including degree and overall experience.
