About the role
Provides oversight of all aspects of the ALSAC Safety Program and supports its seamless integration with the ALSAC Business Continuity Program. Works with the Advisor, Business Continuity & Safety to plan, coordinate, and implement business continuity, safety, and security initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Support development, implementation, and maintenance of key safety, security, and business continuity program components.
- Document, monitor, and implement routine hazard and security assessments for the National Executive Office and regional offices.
- Maintain safety and business continuity program documentation and administer related systems and databases.
- Assist with annual business continuity and safety plan maintenance activities.
- Conduct employee training as needed and support department initiatives across functional areas.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, vendors, and local authorities.
- Administer and maintain databases related to safety and security program activities, including user administration, content management, and user training.
- Prepare reports, procedures, and manuals that translate technical information for diverse audiences.
- Collect, assemble, and interpret statistical data for program monitoring, compliance, and performance measurement.
- Draft, update, and maintain safety, security, and business continuity documentation, and coordinate distribution of updates.
- Stay current on OSHA, NFPA, NLB, and other applicable regulations, advising the Business Continuity & Safety Advisor of regulatory changes.
- Schedule and coordinate Safety Warden, Safety Committee, and other departmental meetings for training, audits, exercises, and program activities.
- Manage multiple concurrent assignments while communicating clearly both verbally and in writing.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Safety, Security Management, Criminal Justice, Emergency Management, or a related field (preferred).
- 3–5 years of related experience, preferably managing or supporting a safety, security, or business continuity program.

Schedule
This position is onsite five (5) days per week at the ALSAC National Executive Office in Memphis, TN.
