About the role

You will play a vital role in safeguarding intelligence activities and enabling Army operations across the Pacific. You’ll apply your security expertise to enhance regional readiness, strengthen operational effectiveness, and advance national security priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive security, administrative, and operational support to ensure the protection, accountability, and compliance of sensitive facilities and programs across the command.
  • Work closely with military, government civilian, and industry counterparts to inform decisions, optimize processes, and maintain adherence to DoD, Army, and Intelligence Community directives.
  • Process and validate personnel security clearances, maintain security records, manage visitor access, and serve as a key point of contact for individuals requiring guidance on security procedures.
  • Contribute to audit readiness, support ongoing security initiatives, and help sustain a strong and resilient security posture for one of the Army’s most strategically important commands.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience managing security requirements within DoD collateral, SCI, or SAP environments.
  • Experience with DoD security systems or databases such as DISS or ACCS.
  • Experience in Personnel Security, Information Security, Industrial Security, or Physical Security.
  • Knowledge of clearance processes and requirements along with Security Awareness, Training, and Education (SATE) methods.
  • Knowledge of SCIF operations, access control procedures, security management practices, and inspection requirements.
  • TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED and 9+ years of experience in a professional work environment, Associate's degree and 7+ years of experience in a professional work environment, or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in a professional work environment.

Skills

  • Experience providing constructive, tactful, and discreet security guidance at all organizational levels.
  • Knowledge of Army Regulations, DoD Manuals, Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and related security policies.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, shifting priorities.
  • Clear communication and collaborative skills with teams, stakeholders, and government clients.
  • Security-related certifications provided via the Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE).

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD).
