Responsibilities
- Support the Sensitive Compartment Information Facility.
- Participate in SAP Security Compliance Inspections and Self-Inspections.
- Report, document, and investigate security incidents.
- Review and apply governing policy including Executive Orders, DoD Security Directives, and the JAFAN Series.
- Communicate orally and in writing with staff and supervisors.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the fields of physical (PYSEC), industrial, information (INFOSEC) and personnel security (PERSEC).
- Experience with ICD-705 compliance or similar security compliance documentation.
- A minimum Secret security clearance or higher is required.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
Skills
- Knowledge of security classification methods and concepts.
- Understanding of eligibility criteria for accessing classified or sensitive information.
- Ability to grant personnel security clearances/access.
- Clear understanding of commonly applied security principles, concepts, and methodologies.
- Ability to evaluate the effects of various security factors.
- Proficiency in executing duties such as conducting inspections and investigations.
- Ability to collect and analyze information.
