About the role

The Security Specialist II (SSII) is a journeyman level position responsible for various security and administrative tasks across different areas of ServiceSource.

Responsibilities

  • Workforce Support Center: Accurately create, issue, collect, and process clearances using several computer systems.
  • Visitor Control: Verify clearances, issue temporary badges, and assist in expediting personnel entering and exiting the facility.
  • Conference Center: Provide access control, generate furniture set-up work requests, and monitor facility cleanliness.
  • Registry: Receive, wrap, and ship classified material, populate and maintain related databases, and create courier cards.
  • SCIF: Provide access control service, comply with NGA/DOD/IC directives/regulations, and interface with NGA Police and Government Site Security.
  • Escort: Ensure monitored personnel comply with security regulations, check security badges, and perform pre-access briefs.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or state certified equivalent required.
  • 2 years’ security or related experience required.
  • Valid driver's license and/or access to reliable transportation required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI government security clearance with polygraph.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency in handling sensitive information.
  • Punctuality and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Excellent oral/verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
