Security Specialist II

Responsibilities
- Interpret and enforce government and internal company policies as well as provide direction and guidance to employees.
- Develop and implement security plans and procedures utilizing the new 32 CFR Part 117 National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM) as well as any other specific programmatic instruction manuals.
- Understand and implement program security requirements.
- Review, draft, and ensure compliance for all collateral DD254s.
- Aid with international requirements including government to government shipments, foreign visitor requirements, and Export Control compliance.
- Aid with facility construction and continued accreditation requirements.
- Provide security guidance to company personnel.
- Conduct security briefings as necessary.
- Conduct investigations and interviews of non-compliance matters and issues relating to security violations. Complete appropriate documentation according to company and government directives.
- Aid with security reviews including DCSA visits, formal self-inspections, and Staff Assistance Visits (internal audits).
Requirements
- 4 or more years of relevant work experience to the position and requirements with a minimum of a high school diploma.
- Secret Security Clearance, at minimum, is required or the ability to get one.
- Demonstrated knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
- Exercise discretion and independent judgement while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
- High level of personal motivation and initiative to learn and acquire new skills, and adapt seamlessly to an ever-changing security environment.
- Customer focused, excellent communicator (written and verbal), and ability to work with limited supervision.
- Manage time, make sound decisions, take independent action, analyze problems, and provide focused solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Top Secret Clearance
- Previous experience with DISS, NISS, and SIMS
- Facility Security Officer Program Management for Possessing Facilities Certificate (via CDSE)
- Insider Threat Program for Industry Curriculum, INT33.CU provided by the Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) or equivalent training.

Benefits
Full-Time Salary Range: $67406 - $114590
