Security Specialist Generalist III (INFOSEC) - Albuquerque, NM

Responsibilities

• Serves as a Security Specialist and has experience and knowledge working as a subject matter expert in one or more of the following security disciplines: Industrial Security, Personnel Security, Physical Security, Information Security, Operations Security, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Security.
• Manages the day-to-day operations of assigned areas and acts as a liaison with higher-level managers, subject matter experts, and customers both within and outside the Agency.
• Analyzes, plans, advises, and evaluates the development and implementation of policies, procedures, standards, training, and methods for identifying and protecting the information, operations, facilities, and/or personnel of the Agency from unauthorized disclosure, misuse, theft, assault, vandalism, espionage, sabotage, or loss.
• Counsels and advises on security matters and conducts security studies, assessments, and surveys.
• Prepares written reports and assessments and makes recommendations for corrective action.
• Collaborates with internal and external partners to resolve security concerns and improve security programs.
• Ensures security standards are being administered by reviewing and making recommendations regarding existing policies, procedures, and techniques.
• Develops new or modifies existing security policies, processes, and procedures in assigned areas.

Qualifications

• Security Fundamentals professional Certification (SFPC), or the ability to obtain certification within six months of onboarding date.
• Experience supporting Security related programs with US government.
• Bachelor’s Degree or 10 years military service required.
• Strong writing and reporting skills, with the demonstrated ability to brief high level customer stakeholders and senior staff.
• Current Top-Secret Clearance with SCI.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $50,000 - $75,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
