Information System Security Specialist III

About the role

The Information System Security Specialist III is responsible for ensuring the security of company systems and data. This includes conducting security assessments, implementing security protocols, and responding to security incidents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular security assessments and audits of systems and networks.
• Implement and maintain security policies and procedures to protect company assets.
• Respond to security incidents and breaches in accordance with established protocols.
• Train employees on security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Stay current with emerging threats and technologies to inform security strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• CISSP certification preferred.
• Experience with network security, encryption, and secure coding practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of industry-standard security tools and technologies.
• Experience with incident response and forensics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

• $80,000 - $100,000 annually.

Schedule
