About the role

Rocket Lab is an end-to-end space company delivering responsive launch services, complete spacecraft design and manufacturing, payloads, satellite components, and more – all with the goal of opening access to space. The rockets and satellites we build and launch enable some of the most ambitious and vital space missions globally, supporting scientific exploration, Earth observation, and missions to combat climate change, national security, and exciting new technology demonstrations.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the security department to apply your knowledge and grow your skills both technically and professionally.
  • Support security infrastructure and global security operations command center operations.
  • Audit corporate programs pertaining to asset protection, supply chain security, and transportation security procedures.
  • Investigate sensitive allegations of fraud, waste and abuse and provide timely and accurate fact-based reporting.
  • Analyze external matters such as uniform crime reporting, business reputational management, and emerging threats and recommend appropriate countermeasures.
  • Audit U.S. government and sensitive commercial programs and assist with compliance efforts.
  • Attend frequent 1:1's with mentors and supervisors to facilitate success and learning while providing progress updates.

Requirements

High School Diploma and 2 years of experience in an audit, analyst, or similar role. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance. The applicant must be able to maintain clearance eligibility.

A valid driver’s license. These Qualifications Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Work experience in the military, space/aerospace, or defense industry.
  • U.S. government TS/SCI eligible.

Pay

Base Pay Range (CA Only): $24 USD - $30 USD

Schedule

On-site (not Remote nor Hybrid) based in the Rocket Lab office in Long Beach, California with occasional domestic travel (
