Security Specialist

Provide security risk management guidance pertaining to the protection of advanced technology, make access eligibility determinations in accordance with Navy SAP Nomination Process, and review documentation required for classified information systems following current regulations. Conduct site surveys, physical security accreditations, interpret security policies, and implement organization security policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Participate in SAP Security Compliance Inspections and Self-Inspections
• Report, document, and investigate security incidents
• Review and apply governing policy including Executive Orders, DoD Security Directives, and the JAFAN Series
• Communicate orally and in writing with staff and supervisors

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in physical, industrial, information, and personnel security
• Active Secret security clearance

Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

$60,000 to $65,000
