Security Shift Supervisor - College Campus

About the role

The Security Shift Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer site. Acting as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers, you will supervise staff on your shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment range.

• Provide coaching, recognition, and discipline to staff
• Prepare written reports and logs
• Handle common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years of age
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines
• Frequent preparation of written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting
• Ability to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions
• Licensing requirements as per state and/or local laws (may be required prior to employment)
• For driving positions: valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy, and ability to safely operate a vehicle
• Successful completion of a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test (may also require passing a Drivers Record check)
• Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites
• Ability to work in various environments (cold weather, rain/snow, heat)
• Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
• Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
• Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
• 2+ years of security and/or supervisory experience preferred
• Frequent walking/standing required
• Moderate technological usage required

Pay

$19.25 per hour

Schedule

Full-time, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday – Friday
