Security Shift Supervisor

About the role

This position is a supervisory role requiring strong leadership and customer service skills. Essential functions include overseeing security officers, maintaining schedules, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Security Officers and Lead Officers
• Ensure adherence to post orders and rounds
• Notify authorities in emergencies
• Coach and discipline personnel as necessary
• Train Security Officers and other company personnel
• Prepare and submit various reports
• Inspect posts and meet with subordinates
• Meet with client representatives
• Perform duties of a Security Officer as required

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in retail preferred

• Knowledge of security operations
• Ability to provide positive direction and motivate performance
• Understanding of security and safety devices
• Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions
