Supervise Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to client site(s); ensure all post orders are followed, rounds are completed, and required reports are filed
Notify proper authorities and client in emergency situations
Coach and discipline personnel; document coaching and disciplinary actions
Train Security Officers and other company personnel; review post orders and assignment details
Assist in submission of payroll and personnel information
Ensure adequate coverage of all posts and positions in conjunction with company management
Prepare, file, and submit various reports as required
Inspect posts and meet with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities
Meet with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met and provide quality customer service
Carry out supervisory duties including interviewing, orienting, training, planning, assigning, directing work, coaching, appraising performance, rewarding, disciplining, addressing complaints, resolving problems, and making hiring/termination recommendations
Perform duties of a Security Officer in accord with post orders and company policy
Schedule, counsel, train, and discipline officers
Monitor CCTVs and handle badging, X-ray, and wanding

High School Diploma or G.E.D. and 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in retail preferred
More than 2 years of security experience and/or previous law enforcement, corrections, or military experience
Strong leadership skills
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time
Comfortable with computers and technology; no outside electronics or cell phones allowed (communication via radio)
May be required to hold and meet requirements for applicable state, county, and municipal licenses for Security Officers
Knowledge of security operations with emphasis on patrol, inspection, and response services
Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures
Ability to provide positive direction and motivate performance
Understanding of security and safety devices and controls
Ability to learn quickly and carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagrammatic form
Ability to track and maintain schedule assignments
Ability to be an effective team member
Ability to maintain professional composure in unusual circumstances
Courteous telephone manner
Ability to adapt to various sites and changes in post procedures
Ability to write routine correspondence, logs, and reports
Good organizational skills
Strong customer service and results orientation
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively with clients at various social levels and across diverse cultures

Must maintain composure when dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public, occasionally under urgency and pressure
May be exposed to stressful situations, such as challenging individuals in or approaching unauthorized areas
Must undergo and meet company standards for background checks, reference checks, controlled substance testing, and behavioral selection survey, in addition to any mandatory licensing requirements
May be required to work overtime without advance notice
Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
Frequent sitting, standing, and walking for long periods; may involve climbing stairs, inclines, and uneven terrain
Occasional reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds; occasionally up to 25 pounds
Close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus
Regular use of vehicle for duties
May be exposed to inclement weather or require use of protective gear and devices
May handle sensitive and confidential information
