About the role
The Armed Security Shift Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to handle crisis situations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coach professional security officers
- Provide recognition and discipline within approved empowerment range
- Communicate staffing needs to Account Manager or Operations Manager
- Ensure officers receive appropriate training
- Manage uniforms, equipment, supplies, and vehicles
- Administer JSA’s and safety programs
- Assist with managing uniforms, equipment, supplies, and vehicles
- Assist Account or Operations Manager in managing uniforms, equipment, supplies, and vehicles
- Assure that employee grievances are heard with help from appropriate HR support
- Assure that officers receive appropriate training
