Security Shift Supervisor - Armed

About the role

Allied Universal Services is seeking an Armed Security Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services to an assigned customer. The Armed Shift Supervisor will act as a liaison between customers, Operation Managers and security officers, supervise site staff, and provide coaching, recognition and discipline within approved empowerment range.

Schedule

• Overnight shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Workdays: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Thursday

Pay

Starting base pay: $23.50 per hour

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), and the ability to safely operate a vehicle
• Must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen

Qualifications

• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently
• Capability to utilize scheduling and billing software to produce reports (such as Scheduling Activity, Training Detail reports, etc.) that require interpretation and action for effective business management
• Ability to communicate staffing needs to the Operation Manager, including using the requisition process and assisting in identifying and interviewing quality candidates
• Ensures officers receive appropriate training, develops them in both technical and professional skills, and manages performance (coaching, counseling, disciplining, performance evaluations, recognition, etc.)
• Ensures employee grievances are heard with help from appropriate branch or region HR support
• Physical ability to work in various environments (cold weather, rain/snow, heat), occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds, climb stairs/ramps/ladders occasionally, and stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
