Security Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and scheduled service calls requiring installation, programming or repair to Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion Systems
• Test all systems and equipment, after repairs are made, to ensure performance of system
• Performing maintenance service calls at customer sites
• Install, diagnose and repair/replace wiring, devices and both analog and digital control panels for security, access control, and CCTV systems
• Maintain and repair CCTV, Access Control, and Intrusion system components, including circuit cards, power supplies, software, copper and fiber optic systems platforms
• Complete all appropriate company paperwork as required
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics, and operational product manuals
• Aid customers on site with all questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Communicate and effectively interact with other contractors and building owners
• Resolve field problems through research of multiple alternatives

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Applicants must meet requirements in relation to background and driving record
• Must be proficient in the use and application of industry related equipment including MS Office
• Must have excellent communications skills, using tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers
• Possess knowledge of computer programming and technologies related to Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion systems
