Security Service Technician

About the role

Since 1984, Galaxy Integrated Technologies has been designing and installing state-of-the-art security systems for a variety of commercial, government, education and health care properties across New England, New York, and New Jersey. We are seeking an experienced Security Installation Technician.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, and service access control and CCTV systems
• Work with platforms including Lenel, S2, Axis, Motorola, Avigilon, and DMP
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues onsite
• Perform alarm monitoring setup and integration
• Maintain clean, professional work and strong customer communication
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams to complete projects on time and on budget

Requirements

• 2+ years of field experience with access control and CCTV installation
• Proficiency with Lenel, S2, Axis, Motorola, Avigilon, and DMP systems are required; certifications are preferred
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
• Able to work independently or as part of a team
• Clean driving record and able to pass background check
• Customer first mindset and professional demeanor

Qualifications

Pay

The pay range for current technicians is $25-50 per hour, based on experience level.
