Security Rep Sr - E3
This position is located at Eglin AFB, FL and will support F-35 security operations. Due to the dynamic environment, the incumbent may be required to support either first, second, or third shift operations to include weekends as required. Some travel may be required. Due to local mission requirements, a Top Secret/SCI clearance will be required. US citizenship is required as most programs and projects assigned are ITAR restricted.
About the role
The selected candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day site security operations for classified and unclassified areas of the F-35 Integrated Training Center (ITC) and/or F-35 Fighter Squadrons.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement local facility operating procedures (FOP).
- Manage physical security policy and procedures for SAPF certification/accreditation and prepare Fixed Facility checklist IAW ICD 705.
- Support contingency planning during emergencies.
- Maintain facility records, access control, and badge issue/accountability.
- Perform and document vault alarm response/testing of Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS).
- Perform self-inspections and prepare for customer inspections.
- Assist in security investigations.
- Perform random searches.
- Enforce all USAF and local security procedures and practices, including controlling access to secure facilities, handling and storage of classified documents and electronic media.
- Monitor compliance with COMSEC and COMPUSEC (act as COMSEC/SVRO Custodian as needed).
- Provide assistance with file plans and documentation maintenance in classified containers.
- Change combinations and generate SF 700s.
- Provide training as needed.
- Escort un-cleared personnel within classified areas.
Security Generalists will be hired to support either first, second, or third shift operations to include weekends as the need arises. While assigned shifts should be stable, applicants may be required to change shifts, if necessary, to support mission requirements.
Requirements
- Current SECRET security clearance with an investigation within 5 years from the investigation closed date or confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs (SAPs).
- Industrial and/or military security experience.
- Ability to establish and maintain professional and productive relationships with internal and external customers.
Skills
- Experience working on the F-35 Program.
- Knowledge of ICD 705 Physical Security.
- Previous SAP experience & knowledge of DoD 5205.07.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a team setting achieving common goals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products.
Pay
Full-Time Salary Range: $65,200.00 - $121,200.00
