Responsibilities

  • Serves as the alternate contact for all security related matters regarding the MILCON program
  • Affords assistance to the Lead Security Embed with overseeing the management of construction security operations
  • Aids in the development, modification, implementation, and storage of the Construction Security Plans (CSP) per each project
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to review, design/construction drawings, RFI’s, submittals, and any project/contract related changes and provides security guidance and recommendations
  • Serves as the programs Site Security Manager (SSM) and identifies and reports on any security related violations and deviations from the CSP
  • Affords assistance in managing the construction security contracts, and reports on program/project related updates
  • Affords assistance with the approval of Personal Equipment Devices (PED)
  • Affords assistance with site and campus related access for the general/sub-contractors
  • Attends and participates in all project/program related meetings and engagements when required
  • Briefs leadership and counterparts on all security related information and updates when applicable

Requirements

  • TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8+ years of experience managing complex projects
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Microsoft Project
  • Proficiency with developing project management plans, leading multi-discipline teams of architects and engineers from a variety of organizations, and monitoring/reporting project status
  • Highly skilled in customer service and diverse stakeholder engagement
  • Certified in ICD 705 SSM, PHYSEC/SSO training, CST, CQM certification, FFC/TEMPEST checklist training, Facility Renovations for ICD/ICS 705 & TEMPEST Compliance training, and experience with Primavera 6 software and RMS Project Management Software

Qualifications

  • Proficiency with reading and understanding construction drawings/specifications and knowledge of standard security industry practices, as well as experience with new building construction
