GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Response Security Officer in Oakland, California. The role varies day-to-day and may involve customer service, patrols, or surveillance, requiring adaptability and precision. Responsibilities

• Monitor the premises to ensure security
• Conduct patrols, on foot or on company vehicle to spot any suspicious activity
• Control access points and verify identities
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security
• Write detailed reports on events and incidents
• Collaborate with authorities during serious situations
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of security officer experience required
• Valid CA Driver's License
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
• Responsive and strong problem‑solving skills
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience a plus
• State security license (GUARD CARD) and additional 32‑hour BSIS security trainings (additional trainings can be obtained during hiring)

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $25.75 per hour (DailyPay available for GardaWorld employees)

Schedule

• Wednesday to Saturday, 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, 32 hours per week
• Saturday to Sunday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, 16 hours per week
• Saturday to Tuesday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, 32 hours per week
