Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and retail visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the property, common areas, parking locations, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance, lighting, and access control concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized activity, support access control practices, and provide directions or assistance to visitors as needed.
• Assist with retail and residential community location needs by observing daily activity, addressing policy-related issues, and communicating clearly with residents, tenants, vendors, and/or local responders when appropriate.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

• Position Type: Part Time / Swing Shift
• Saturday: 02:15 PM - 10:45 PM
• Sunday: 02:15 PM - 10:45 PM

Pay

$21.50 / Hour
