About the role

As a Security Patrol Driver Shopping Center in Tustin, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. This driving role combines customer service, communication, and response to concerns while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and/or personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, parking facilities, exterior perimeters, and other assigned locations to help maintain a welcoming environment and help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points, observe activity within assigned areas, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, property concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions in required reports.
  • Assist with traffic flow, visitor directions, and coordination with site management and/or emergency responders as needed.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
