Job Description

As a Security Officer with Active Clearance Patrol Driver in MOORESTUNT, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in an aero and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols and driving patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security-related issues.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization as required by site protocols, and help to support access control operations.
  • Communicate with site contacts, employees, and/or first responders regarding security-related concerns, policy questions, and developing situations while maintaining professional presence and attention to detail.

Minimum Requirements

  • An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
